By popular request of the vicarious, i hereby leave a record of my adventures in the search for terrestrial intelligence.

The effortless, playful, self-sustaining dance of nature holds keys to understanding the purpose of organic life in the cosmic scheme. While the artificial forms and rhythms of city life are the children of our powerful logic, the planet that gives birth to a creature capable of such logic is a much more holistic, complex, and subtle system. This is the intelligence of earth – hidden in her powers of growth and evolution.

In order to investigate the workings of this system, i have formed a flexibly vague plan with a few key principles:

1) untethering from my heretofore urban lifestyle, and utilizing the subsequent mobility it offers

2) spending time observing nature both internally and externally

3) focused conscious attention on the experience of being

4) resolving to follow whatever insights nature offers

i have no goal beyond growth of understanding as such, no definite accomplishment to strive for by doing it.

i move simply to experience what happens.
